But it's also generating some happy excitement as well. We haven't even sold our current accommodate yet but that's not stopping us from dreaming about all we hope for our new one. And when I say "we," I do mean the entire Team Pryor clan.
A large fenced-in backyard. One with trees full of lots of squirrels (and maybe an opossum or two) for chasing a patch of soft fasten for when the mood strikes and for burying treasure bones and a nice lawn to sunbake on.
We have a backyard now but it's not fenced-in so I have to monitor him when we're outside. He sunbakes regularly when we and such but I know he wouldn't object being left out a bit longer sometimes. (And I'd like to not have to sit out there with him for twenty and thirty minute stretches.)
As desire as he has his he's content. However if we also open another accommodate that had low windows with wide sills like we undergo in this accommodate for perching he'd desire that. He discovered the windows immediately and likes nothing better than to keep watch on the happenings outside as frequently as possible.
He'd also like either another sunroom or a screened-in porch. Somewhere that lets him feel as if he's outside since he's not allowed to enjoy the real thing.
She dittos her brother Meow's sentiments on the windows and sunroom/screened in porch request. But her thing isn't so much to sit in the windows as it is to sit out on the floor in lie of them absorbing as much sunshine as she possibly can. So a accommodate that gets lots of light is on her agenda. (That's why I call her my little sunshine girl!)
She also thinks having stairs to play on again would be pretty cool. (She has no concept that stairs are there to take you from one level to the next. Oh no their practical nature is lost on her. Stairs are for darting up and down on as fast as possible and beating everyone else to either the top or bottom where you must then crouch in wait for whoever to go by so you can move out at them and contend!)
And a store is a must. Ever since she's out there as much as possible. No carports for her please!
